The Goddard School offers programs for children from six weeks to six years of age as well as after-school enrichment and a summer program. The Goddard School offers the unique FLEX Learning Program™. The FLEX Learning Program was developed based on the latest research in how children learn. FLEX is a comprehensive play-centered curriculum that provides the optimal environment for children’s development. Qualified teachers observe and assess where each child is in all areas of development and skillfully weave in engaging learning activities that build upon what individual children can do and encourage them to try new things. In each classroom, teachers develop lesson plans and create an atmosphere where children can learn and gain the skills that will guide them toward future academic success.

Making learning fun is at the core of The Goddard School FLEX Learning Program and, each day, Goddard School children select activities and materials to discover, explore and invent in their own imaginative and creative way. The program provides a warm, nurturing environment where children can make many supportable choices, independently explore learning materials and develop socialization skills as they interact with others. Play is the foundation of learning and Goddard takes play seriously! Children read in library nooks, climb and run outdoors, and explore learning centers for creative art, math, dramatic play, science and computers. Cheery classrooms and large playgrounds form the backdrop to a learning environment where children participate in enriching activities.
